TREE Terminal Inspection Requirements

Overview: The following Inspection Requirements are to be adhered to on all assignments performed either solely for TREE Terminal Operations or when conducting an independent inspection for custody transfers involving multiple companies. These requirements are to be considered the minimum steps to be taken when conducting an independent inspection and / or cargo quality determination. Functions of the quantity inspection or cargo testing which are not addressed in this manual are to be performed in accordance with the latest API/ASTM Guidelines.

Throughout the duration of the loading or discharge TREE is to receive a minimum of two (2) written updates per day. The updates should be sent via email to the TREE Operations Scheduler and should contain the following information:


- Vessel ETA (prior to arrival)

- Updated Time Logs during the custody transfer

- Any problems or potential problems

- Cargo Quantities (OBQ, ROB, Quantity Loaded/Discharged)

- Quantity of Free Water Found

- Estimated Completion Time and Departure Time
